Summer Camp

Make a Donation

In order to make this new debate format work, there is a need to provide resources and reading materials that students will use in order to make their arguments and to bring change in their societies. This will be done in the following manner:

Local Libraries

One important part of the resources that will be provided will be online materials. In this age of information, there is an immense amount of knowledge available on the Internet and we plan to take advantage of this. At EducArt, we are going to build a small catalogue where students can get articles, eBooks and scholarly works pertaining on the topic. The collection of these online materials will be done by the research assistants who will have the task of putting these materials on CDs and DVDs that will be distributed to students at Camp or on request. Their job will be to continue to upgrade this online library with more materials.

International Libraries

Some of the schools that will be part of the camp and the competitions do not have constant access to the Internet or computers so they would not be able to access the online materials. In order to accommodate these schools, we also plan to furnish our small library with more books. Our research assistants will make a list of books that deal with the subject at hand and will more to make sure our library provides resources from different schools of thought.

Evidence Packet

The evidence packet will be like a welcome packet for the students. This is a packet that will contain information about the debate formats, the topic and other relevant information. It will also contain a brief description of the different school of thoughts on the topic and of course references to other materials if students want to do more research.
