In July 2013, EducArt Ltd with its partners is going to organize the East African Debate Camp. This activity which will be attended by students from the EA region will aim at training students and teachers in debate and imparting with them the knowledge and the desire to learn that they would need in order to continue debating in their own societies. These students will be coming from the East African region; each country will send eight teams of three students and six teachers and coaches. These students will be chosen by the national debate council; namely- the NDC (National Debate Council) in Uganda and the TDC (Technology Development Centres) in Tanzania and will have to be in secondary students. In this camp, students will be broken down into small groups of approximately 5-10 people. In each group the students will work on arguments, read books and look for evidence to support their arguments. These groups will allow the students to have a more personalized attention from coaches.
